Our Team of Experts

Whitney Gibbs, MSN, FNP

Whitney Gibbs is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She entered into the healthcare arena at the early age of 16 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital. There, she served as a high school nursing intern in the cardiac unit. At that time, Whitney learned that this journey was for her. Over the years, she has gained clinical experience working in various areas of patient care (oncology, home health, hospice, cardiac/thoracic, long term acute care, primary care, occupational health, and urgent care).

Whitney holds two health care degrees. She earned her bachelor of science and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. Later, she earned her masters of science and was inducted into the Golden Key National Honors Society. Her goal is to increase patient access to care, promote disease prevention, and help patients manage living with chronic illnesses.

During the early stages of her career, Whitney took care of her elderly grandmother. She learned that a lack of quality long term care existed and the difficulties of taking care of a loved one. Her skilled clinical background and experience of a caregiver has led her to create Hearts and Hands Personal Care LLC. Whitney’s goal is to provide affordable, safe, heart filled, and flexible care to your loved ones.
